solon community network was an independent resident involvement consultancy which operated throughout the united kingdom. it closed for business on 30th september 2013. solon helped registered providers of social housing to empower their residents by providing support, training and advice. solon was a leading national resident involvement consultancy with extensive experience of reaching those who are traditionally excluded from real choice and opportunity in housing, employment and in the way their communities are run. its expertise covered resident scrutiny investigations, strategic review, tenant management (as lead advisor to set up a tmo, approved assessor, and through strategic review), ita work on regeneration, stock options and transfers as well as embedding co-productive practices. solon worked with its clients to find the right method of engagement for their projects and for their residents.
