solsken is the swedish word for sunshine. since the passive house standard evolved from passive solar concepts, we’ve named our passive house designs the solsken by ecocor collection. the solsken collection is inspired by the sun, the earth, the wind, flowers and trees. ecocor is proud to make solsken passive houses available to the homeowners of america. ecocor can build any home you or your architect design. but for those who want to save some of the time or cost of original design, we've created solsken by ecocor, a collection of pre-fab passive house designs conceived on a mass customization model, and developed in collaboration with a passive house certified architect. solsken designs can be used as is, or they can be customized to fit your particular site and needs. solsken homes are built in our factory, where we can control cost and assure quality, then assembled on your site, where they can be finished by your builder, or, in northern new england, completed by ecocor.
