solubrio is the cannabis industry's sole supplier of "briohocl"​, developed to remove biofilms (clusters of bacteria) from tubing and equipment. our product is a highly purified formulation of hypochlorous, which mimics the natural oxidative killing action of human immune cells against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. it can also inactivate prions and other proteins, some of which are thought to be important in parkinson’s and alzheimer’s diseases, according to national institutes of health (nih) researchers. prions are deadly pathogens that are notoriously difficult to inactivate, and standard microbial disinfection protocols are often inadequate. briohocl can inactivate not only a range of target microbes, including spores of bacillus subtilis, but also prions in tissue suspensions and on stainless steel. these results indicate that hocl can block the self-propagating activity of prions and other amyloids...
