solutions at work is a nonprofit providing essentials good and services for the impoverished and homeless. we do this by providing essential items necessary to return a family or individual to self-sufficiency not usually covered by government or agency programs. these include: refurbished computers on which to maintain skills and send out resumes; clothing, books, toys for children; infant paraphernalia; interview wardrobes for both men and women; and inexpensive moving services. mission, vision, and values solutions at work was founded by a group of homeless individuals in cambridge in 1989. our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by providing individuals and families with opportunities to strengthen their self-confidence, professional skills, and financial stability. we envision a greater boston in which homeless and poor people have the resources, opportunities, and partners they need to achieve self-sufficiency. the following organizational values inform how
