we are a not-for-profit, community-based organization focused on building character in children at the taft houses, a nycha building, by providing them with immersive educational and cultural experiences. our approach leverages the virtually unlimited cultural, educational, scientific and natural resources of new york city, and its satellite communities in the tri-state area, to create experiences that broaden local children’s lives and help them dream of the infinite possibilities that lie ahead of them. solutions now is dedicated to making a real impact on local children and, as such, has partnered with the taft houses, located in east harlem and home to over 450 children ages 4-12 years old. what if a community-based organization could increase the likelihood that children will grow into successful adults by providing them with a set of life experiences that broaden their perspectives, raise their hopes, and ignite their passions?
