solutions for the planet (www.solutionsfortheplanet.org.uk) is an award winning stem and sustainability programme linking schools, business, universities, scientists, engineers and communities to increase entrepreneurship and sustainability amongst young people across the uk. supported by business mentors teams of young people generate and implement 'big ideas' to improve our communities, economy and the environment. we: - support young people to be the entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers and responsible citizens of the future - generate big ideas to improve our society, economy and the environment - build a culture of enterprise and innovation in schools, communities and business’ developing ‘future skills’ the solutions for the planet programme has been delivered with over 10,000 young people and 75 secondary schools across yorkshire since 2008 when it first launched.since 2013 the programme has refocussed on stem and the circular economy. with the goal to engage more young people,
