soma started in 1999 with clive corfield & david rootman creating pieces of furniture from david’s garage. it quickly became apparent that clive & david had a unique chemistry for creating well designed fine furniture. they started from scratch and have slowly built up their business; including other craftspeople within soma and a network of craftspeople throughout the lower mainland. soma’s strong foundation comes from providing excellence in design & manufacturing. soma's shop is now almost 12,000 square feet and includes a design studio, fully enclosed finishing booth capable of high gloss finishes, individual workstations for all of soma's cabinet makers and large open areas inclusive of all the best woodworking equipment soma can buy. our design orientated product includes a range of services and expertise that carries across a wide variety of projects. full furniture & millwork drawings complete with specifications, perspective drawings, illustrations, site visits, finish sampl
