Somali Student Association at York University

1. the aims and objectives of the association will include, but will not be limited to the following: a) to promote unity among somali students at york as well as other somali students across canada, in order to achieve and preserve our overall interests. b) to co-ordinate somali students at york university in order to foster intellectual and social interests in conjunction with other such organizations within canada. c) to act as liaison between somali students at york university and all central student governments, college councils, the administration of york university and other external authorities and/or affiliated bodies. d) to develop and maintain through elections, responsible executives to serve as the government of the association which will promote the interests of their members.
