Something Inappropriate

brian r. yurachek (aka. something inappropriate) is a new york city based cryptartist and self-proclaimed disrupter. as a multidisciplinary artist for over 25 years, he has created art across both physical and digital mediums; often combining the two in eccentric, thought provoking ways.  prior to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, brian was often found in popular nyc music venues serving as the mainstay drummer for brooklyn indie-rock outfits, gillian and valentin marx. left without an outlet for creativity in the wake of music venue closures across the country, he immediately shifted focus back to a largely dormant interest in physical art. since june of 2020, brian has created over 1000 unique pieces of 1-of-1 physical art in his apartment in upper manhattan. he is one of first artists to create record permanence for physical art on decentralized blockchains and often publicly ‘drops’ physical artwork at undisclosed times in major cities across the world.
