Somnos

the somnos sleep wellness monitor is a non-prescription, direct-to-consumer wearable device for tracking apneic events. it addresses the issue of patient non-compliance by providing an alternative method for sleep-disturbed individuals to monitor their sleep patterns and learn valuable information about their physiology. somnos captures much of the same data as fda-cleared home sleep tests (type iii and iv), but we consolidate all of our sensing equipment into a single chest strap using torso-based optical oximetry and acoustic airflow detection.
