songbird marketing & public relations was founded by elyse maxwell after a more than decade long career in agency public relations, non-profit marketing, public affairs and government communications. elyse’s unique outlook on marketing and public relations stems from a unique combination of education including a bachelors degree in journalism/public relations from the university of oklahoma, a masters degree in corporate communications/public relations from georgetown university and most recently, a certification in strategic digital marketing from yale university. marketing, public relations and communications are not a one size fits all. the songbird philosophy is to work as honest counsel for clients while collaborating to determine the best strategy for your organization.
