in 2009, bob van zandt reached a point in his life where he wanted to take all his knowledge from the secular business world and apply it towards advancing god's kingdom. after considerable prayer, he created songear, a marketplace for christian artists who create biblically inspired products such as christian jewelry, clothing and gifta, and reinvesting a portion of the proceeds back into ministry projects -- creating a spiritually healthy ecosystem. two years later, songear realized that this marketplace could begin funding warm winter coats for children in need and launched coat for coat™. with every coat purchased, songear will donate a new, warm winter coat to a child in need. within five years, songear has grown to a marketplace of thousands of spiritually healthy products with over 910,000 facebook users. as we continue to grow, our product choices offer a retail option to our customers with the power to impact the lives of those around the world.
