zambales is known for its warm people and sweet delicacies. this is where the inspiration of mrs. luzonia encarnacion was drawn to establish the small business, sonia's sweets in 2000. the business started with the introduction of sesame candy, a locally produced crop known among the locals as "bukayo linga". sonia’s sweets line grew into a variety of chips derived from root crops such as taro roots, camote, and cassava accented by different detailed flavors of cheese sweet, barbeque, and sour cream and onion. sonia's sweets is also known for banana chips, which is one of our best-selling products. through this business, mrs. encarnacion has sent all her three children to college but when her husband started to have health issues, sonia's sweets went down. it was in 2017 when mrs. encarnacion’s daughter, rachel ann was eager to continue their business. even without enough capital and knowledge in operating business, rachel ann equipped herself by attending methodical seminars, trad
