sono4you hambug is a peer-to-peer teaching project in hamburg which origined from vienna, austria. our mission is to give medical students the opportunity to learn basics of medical sonography applications, focusing on sonographic anatomy, machine and probe handling as well as basics of image interpretation. we want to enable them to build upon this foundational knowledge in clinical rotations and in their future training as doctors. sono4you hamburg currently consists of approximately 20 student peer tutors, with a growing number of alumni still supporting the project while already working as doctors in multiple medical specialties in different countries. furthermore several physicians support us with training to maintain quality of our ultrasound skills.
