Sonovol

sonovol is a spinout from the joint department of biomedical engineering at unc chapel hill and north carolina state university. company co-founders dr. paul dayton and dr. ryan gessner have worked together since 2008, and have developed numerous ultrasound-imaging hardware and software technologies which have direct commercial application to several disease research markets. sonovol was founded in in 2012, and to date the team has completed the assembly and testing of their prototype imaging system. sonovol’s mission is to lower the barrier of entry for every biologist that needs to perform preclinical screening or acquire longitudinal in vivo data in the pharmaceutical, biotech, government and academic markets.
