our name means smiles. sonrisas dental health provides care for all ages and abilities, using the latest technology to provide patients with comfortable and comprehensive treatment for oral health needs. as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are unique because we serve patients of all economic levels including the underserved, uninsured patients who face incredible barriers to accessing dental care. to address geographical challenges, we have a mobile program that brings dental services to senior living facilities, colleges and coastal farmworkers. because the core of our mission and work often sees us collect .25 cents for every $1 spent, we are supported by generous backing from philanthropic groups, foundations, businesses and individuals in addition to our collection of fees for services. in our get a smile, give a smile program, for every insured patient seen at one of our centers, another uninsured or underinsured patient can be served.
