Sons of Hermann Hall

the sons of hermann hall has a long and colorful history. it was built in 1911, when the four sons of hermann dallas-based lodges joined together to construct and manage the building, which would serve as a meeting house and social gathering place. the hall is a dallas historic landmark and a state of texas historic landmark. over the years, members, friends and the community have also helped make this building a legendary dance hall and music venue. in turn, the lodges have been able to give back to the community in many ways. the two sons of hermann lodges currently in the hall are dallas lodge and columbia lodge .
