we are a new brunswick based startup and we are developing a sustainable construction model using solar passive energy. a sophab, or a solar passive habitat, provides a controlled and comfortable climate year round for any new or existing building. we are building domes over homes; putting buildings within an air bubble. billions are spent annually to increase building efficiency, but do little to reduce overall energy demands for hvac in our climate. our nation continues to use massive amounts of electricity, both clean and dirty, to heat and cool our infrastructure. our sophabtech, fully applied, can reduce operational hvac costs to zero, and result in a carbon negative operating footprint given the year round growing environment that comes with the sophab. by insulating a building and its surroundings under an isolated air pocket, we remove the need to make the buildings themselves more efficient. the entire enclosure creates a huge thermal mass that is able to maintain temperat
