the sophia akash foundation cio is a charitable organization who facilitates sustainable impact by working with social enterprises and ngos. we incubate and develop social enterprises using innovative technologies to ensure solutions are delivered reliably and meet the needs of underprivileged communities. our “recipes” are sustainable business models that can be replicated to diverse communities across the world in the same need. we believe that progressing out of poverty requires multiple solutions, and we consequently support social enterprises operating within 7 sectors: digital and financial inclusion, healthcare, education, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, skills training, and wash (water, sanitation and hygiene). we share our knowledge to encourage collaboration and inspire collective action. our charitable organization established in 2010 under project sophia, was donated to sophia akash foundation cio in 2016. the sophia akash foundation cio is a registered c
