sophist – a class of teachers who instructed in writing, rhetoric and speech in greece around the 5th century bc. sophism preceded aristotle and plato and is based in part on knowing what is needed in a particular framework or more simply, knowledge of one’s audience. it teaches that not every social framework is the same and espouses respect for the beliefs of others, even when they are different from our own. sophists believed that knowledge could be taught to all and was not, as plato and aristotle believed, just for the privileged few. the modern belief that everyone has the right to an education originated from the sophists. sophist solutions is founded on the belief that any business, large or small, can develop and capitalize on winning strategies. the correct application of strategic planning coupled with delivery of full systems solutions, incorporating the optimal combination of people, process and technology, is core to our mission.
