sopimusvuori ry on tampereella vuonna 1970 perustettu yleishyödyllinen yhdistys, joka tekee työtä mielenterveyden haasteita kohdanneiden kansalaisten elämänlaadun, sosiaalisen aseman ja hoitomahdollisuuksien parantamiseksi. sopimusvuori ry on toiminut mallina ja edelläkävijänä sosiaalipsykiatrisen kuntoutuksen kentällä. se on ensimmäinen suomeen perustettu mielenterveyskuntoutusyhdistys, joka toimi terapeuttisen yhteisön periaattein. vuodesta 1991 asti sopimusvuori on toiminut kodinomaisen dementiahoitotyön edelläkävijänä. tällä hetkellä sopimusvuori ry on osa laajaa ja monipuolista sosiaalipsykiatristen yhdistysten kansallista ja kansainvälistä verkostoa. sopimusvuori ry:n arvot kiteytyvät ihmisarvon kunnioittamiseen ja sen toteutumisen edistämiseen joka tilanteessa. 2010-luvulla yhdistyksen keskeisenä viitekehyksenä on toipumisorientaatio (recovery). toipumisorientaatiossa on kyse kansalaisoikeuksista, mielekkäästä elämästä, osallisuudesta ja kanssakulkijuudesta. lähestymistavan
