our story begins on the water. where else should the story about a world-class fishing products company begin? our story starts off in the early morning before everyone else is awake, pulling out of the driveway with a tuck b ed full of fishing rods and headed to the water. the team at sord has collectively spent thousands of days fishing and that is where the idea for sord fishing products began. there was a realization that no company was creating high-quality fishing products and selling them at a fair price to the consumer. our tackle boxes were full of a mix of high-quality expensive necessities and low-quality cheap expendables. we realized that the high quality and expensive items were due to brand markups, retail middlemen, million-dollar marketing budgets, corporate overhead, and a whole lot of hoopla. anglers were getting the short end of the stick, so we set out to make a change in the industry – by providing quality fishing products to you at a fair price.
