soror is an institution that aims to combat violence against women in brazil through three pillars: technology, empowerment and assistance. we understand that the phenomenon of violence against women (vaw), in its different manifestations, is complex and affects different sectors of human life. vaw can affect the psychological, physical, patrimonial, social spheres, among others, promoting a negative impact on the lives of millions of women. for this reality to be transformed to the benefit of women, we need equally complex and systemic actions. to this end, soror offers tools such as: (i) information, classes, courses (ii) legal, psychological and human assistance (iii) shelter, day care and monetary assistance so that women are safe and become active agents of their own reality. join us in this new movement to transform thousands of lives. soror: find help, be safe.
