"a loving home for every child"​ sos children’s villages zambia, is an affiliate to sos children’s villages international, and has been operational in zambia since 1999.we operate within the organisation vision of ensuring that every orphan and vulnerable child is provided with a home where they receive love, respect and security. we focus on the care, health, education and general development of each individual. everything we do is based on the best interests of the child, and every child who participates in an sos programme has their own development plan. we provide practical support over the long term, so that the child or young person can develop resilient and reliable relationships and can face life’s challenges in the future. this work in turn, strengthens their communities and society as a whole. we are currently raising over 700 children. and impact over 7000 lives through our family strengthening, health and education programmes
