sos children’s villages tanzania and zanzibar is an independent child based non-governmental and social development organization registered in tanzania and zanzibar with affiliation to sos children’s village international based in innsbruck, austria sos children’s villages is dedicated to work for the children who have lost the parental care and those at risk of losing parental care. sos provides a loving home for every child. we give these children the opportunity to build lasting relationships within a family and help them shape their own futures. we enable children to live according to their own culture and religion, and to be active members of the community.
