what if the village griot tells you a story that means absolutely nothing? fiction makes us human. the ability to create empathy and collaborate on our personal and collective development has made our species competitive for tens of thousands of millennia — for tens of thousands of millennia, story tellers and scribes have brought us to god, healed our marriages, entertained our children, and made us both mortal and immortal all at once. however, the exclusion of diverse human experience from the 'master narrative'​ has narrowed human imagination and left our stories wanting for empathy, meaning, and a new and compelling vision. soso adae, l3c is a digital new media publisher of content that advances fiction literacy while using african dramatic form (adf) as a lens for story development and the understanding of fiction as “root” to all things healing and meaningful. we use audio journalism and invention to publish the 'unimaginable'— opening the narrative of story and the range of hum
