Souls and Stars Sanctuary

souls and stars sanctuary is a not for profit organization in western australia and home to currently over 180 rescued domestic and wild animals. in 2004 we became guardians of this wonderful place by buying these 650ac of land, one hour drive from perth, and fulfilled our lifelong dream by giving a new home to every animal in need that knocked on our door. originally from germany and living in switzerland for 12 years, we had moved to perth only a year before and had already added over 40 rescue animals to our family, including a herd of 25 wild ponies. over the years we have not only grown in size but also in passion: originally trained as a medical practitioner and working as a psychiatrist, my love for humans guides me as much as our compassion for all beings, and so we provide a space where people, animals and nature come together through retreats, talks and workshops, and are invited to learn, love and grow. souls and stars sanctuary : " where life means love "
