Soundcafe Leicester

soundcafe is a charity that inspires people who are homeless or socially isolated as a consequence of their living arrangements. we provide safe creative spaces and offer our guests the opportunity to access services that encourage their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. each week the soundcafe choir meets to rehearse we hold a football health & wellbeing session with our partners leicester city in the community, and our creative cafe takes place at st mary de castro church. special projects take place throughout the year, such as choral performances and our latest large-scale arts council england funded film project, speaking of homelessness. we are a diverse and inclusive community. through our experiences and activities, the personal lives of our guests and volunteers are transformed and empowered. we partner up with the local business community as a way of amplifying the voices of those at the fringes of society.
