soundgroove records is a digital music label created by dj/producers curtis atchison & erik elias of midnight society. now entering its tenth year, sgr has been on the forefront of providing quality underground house music to djs and the club masses. many singles in our extensive catalog have gone on to appear on cd compilations mixed by some of the biggest names in the music industry. others have climbed their way onto the billboard singles chart such as maya azucena's "make it happen" (#3) and midnight society feat. lula's "drum nation (#29). in 2011, several tracks from the label were featured on season four of the hit mtv television show "jersey shore", further providing relevance to the soundgroove records sound. while other labels blindly follow marketing trends and stagnant production formulas in electronic dance music, our philosophy and business model remains the same... if we like it, we'll support it regardless of what style of the moment is. we release and actively search f
