Soundquriang
soundquriang is a charity concert organised by indonesian student's in sydney and is affiliated with the indonesian student's association (ppia) and supported logistically by the consulate general of the republic of indonesia in sydney (kjri sydney). the annual concert began in 2014 and has grown every year to become the single biggest indonesian concert in nsw in 2016. the foundations of the concert lie in giving alms to the most needy in indonesia - especially in improving the education of children. all profit generated from the event goes to the nominated charity for that year. the concert has been commended for it's contribution to the community by promoting vibrant multiculturalism by the lord mayor of sydney clover moore.
