sound walkrs is the perfect smartphone app for helping visitors discover a new city. currently we are perfecting our pilot program in cartagena, colombia. we will soon expand to rio de janeiro, brazil and medellin, colombia. the soundwalkrs app was launched dec 20, 2014 on iphone and android platforms after months of inspired work from an international team of cultural, historical, creative and technological experts. at the heart of soundwalkrs is a series of gps-guided, audio walks led by colorful characters based on historical figures from a city’s past. fictionalized versions of these historical legends lead visitors through some of a city’s most famous streets as well as many of its hidden treasures. the free app includes complimentary walks, or audio tours. additional walks can be purchased for a small fee. the soundwalkers app also features: a complete and up-to-date calendar of events for each destination; an offline city map that functions without the need for wi-fi; and a care
