sourcetone is a music-health company that has been researching the many health benefits of music since 2004. our research teams have worked in tandem with harvard medical school on finding new ways in which music can benefit health conditions (e.g. anxiety, stress), moods (e.g. happiness, relaxation), and activities (e.g. exercise, sleep, studying). market research indicates that the growth in usage of alternative/natural forms of medicine has far outpaced that of traditional drugs in the last decade. as a response to this demand, sourcetone has developed a technology, unlike any other, to deliver music as a tool for healthy living. beyond studies on the psychological and neurological effects of music derived from test subjects at harvard medical school, we also incorporate data received from the mood-enhancing playlists that listeners are able to interact with on our research beta website (www.sourcetone.com). this ongoing research is focused on developing music channels and services
