sage net is an umbrella organisation... ... of various south african and german individuals and organisations (non-profit-organisations, associations, educational institutions, authorities, registered societies and companies) who facilitate and support non-profit and sustainable development in both countries. we engage in exchange programmes for youth and professionals that take place in both countries. we create stable and flexible partnerships within a coordinated network. sage net provides a platform where south african partners can meet, pool resources and share experiences. in this sense, we make use of synergetic effects that arise when people of different organisations co-operate in a constructive way. we can thus achieve results, which would not have been reached as a single organisation. sage net offers a framework for the development of direct contacts for the civil societies – contacts that can lead to goal-oriented and successful projects.
