what is the irr? the irr is a classically liberal think-tank that promotes political and economic freedom. it was instrumental in defeating apartheid by exposing inhumanity and economic irrationality while simultaneously drip-feeding support for fundamental principles of freedom and democracy into the bloodstream of the country. today the irr promotes the investment and economic growth that is necessary to free south africa’s people from dependency, poverty, inequality, and unemployment and put them on the road to prosperity and happiness.
