“together we can!” south african women’s alliance (sawa) was established in 2014 by the vision of entrepreneur and philanthropist maloase mogodi. sawa began as an organization to celebrate ordinary the trailblazers who have opened doors for others courageous south african women that worked to bring democracy and peace to post-apartheid south africa. since then, the organization has expanded its mission to: - provide education, scholarships, tools and technology to schools that serve impoverished children in the atlanta metropolitan area; - creates a friendly and comfortable environment for leadership training, economic empowerment and cultural exchanges. - provide workshops and services to global corporations and entrepreneurs; - facilitate cultural exchanges between our sister countries and organizations. while sawa is headquartered in atlanta, georgia, usa there are branches in canada, germany and south africa. thus, the impact of the organization is expansive. sawa e
