South Carolina Jail Administrators Association

the mission of the south carolina jail administrators association (scjaa) is to promote professionalism through training; to promote unity, to address relevant jail issues; to promote fellowship and good will amongst those who serve within the criminal justice system; and continually strive to promote a positive image of professional and ethical behavior to the community and citizenry it serves. the association shall be composed of jail administrators or persons responsible to sheriffs, city/county administrators or regional boards for the operation of city/county detention facilities, county prisons, or regional detention centers in south carolina; their employees, south carolina department of corrections (scdc) employees, vendors, and retired jail administrators, jail employees and scdc employees who were members in good standing upon their retirement.
