the south carolina osteopathic medical society (scoms) is the voice for osteopathic medicine in the state of south carolina. this state association’s membership is comprised of physicians, residents, medical students, and associates who have an unwavering passion for the osteopathic profession. scoms works to build a greater awareness of the osteopathic profession and advocates on behalf of the profession, physicians, medical students, and patients by communicating with government officials and the public to create a better understanding of the profession and improve the professional climate in which we practice.
