South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association

the south carolina search and rescue dog association is a non-profit 501(c)3 team of volunteer professionals dedicated to helping find missing people using search dogs specifically trained in trailing, area search or air scent, cadaver, and water searches. we offer this specialized sar service to assist south carolina sheriff's departments, fire departments, police, or other emergency services organizations when someone is lost or missing. scsarda has assisted in more than 100 search and rescue call-outs in south carolina and surrounding states. in many ways our organization is like a "special team" on a football team, called in to perform specialized services during an emergency. our team of 14 resides all through the upstate, in five south carolina counties and two north carolina "border counties," and is able to mobilize quickly. scsarda is a 24/7 on-call organization that offers our services through emergency services deployments at absolutely no charge.
