scha is a county-based purchasing health plan serving 12 counties in minnesota. these counties are brown, dodge, freeborn, goodhue, kanabec, morrison, sibley, steele, todd, wabasha, wadena, and waseca. scha was formed in 2001 to improve the way you receive health care. we now have over 24,000 members. scha offers five different programs to meet the needs of those in the 12 counties we serve. we work closely with health care providers and county public health departments to support wellness. we also offer our members a variety of health promotion programs.
