sequest is a not for profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to delivering emergency communications policy, engineering services, radio monitoring and strategy consulting to other not-for-profit emergency organizations and the greater community. our commitment to service is exemplified by the diverse and various operations for the group has engaged in, from providing communication assistance in the 2011 floods, the leukaemia foundation's "light the night", to ex-tropical cyclone debbie, where our emergency operators responded to hundreds of calls, providing real-time updates to the general public - via two-way radio, social media, satellite phone and sms. sequest is also a designated marine communications operator, providing part time volunteer marine distress monitoring resources across south east queensland. sequest has, and will continue, to provide emergency communication, monitoring and engineering resources to various not-for-profit volunteer organizations across south east
