south end soccer is a non-profit with the mission to give urban youth the opportunity to play the world’s most popular sport regardless of prior experience or economic means; and use soccer as a tool to connect our diverse community. we work for equity in youth sports and believe every chid should be able to play sports at any level they desire. our pillars are inclusion and community building through cross-cultural connectivity. inclusion: we navigate the obstacles that hinder urban youth and underserved communities from getting on the field and engendering a love of the game. strengthen community: we provide youth free recreational play, competitive opportunities, clinics and trainings; and thus use soccer as a vehicle to bring together youth, families and neighbors from all backgrounds and cultures. communities are stronger and more viable by bringing together neighbors of all backgrounds, races, religions, socio-economics and ethnicities to learn from each other.
