the south fremantle football club is without doubt one of the oldest and proudest clubs not only in western australia but also australia. the club has a long and rich tradition from the first premiership in 1916 to the celebrations of 100 years of football in april 2000. the club has won 13 premierships in its time and produced 9 sandover medalists. the south fremantle football club has without doubt some of the best facilities in the wafl competition. based in the heart of fremantle it's home ground is fremantle oval. south fremantle football club shares it's ground with the fremantle dockers. the club sets a high standard for on field and off field achievements seeing finals football as a minimum requirement each year for all its teams
