South Oakleigh Club

hidden away in the heart of bentleigh east, the ‘soc’ is a community not for profit club which offers a number of different facilities for members and guests. our venue comprises three function rooms of varying sizes, bistro with alfresco dining and kids playroom, lounge area, tab and sports lounge, snooker room, table tennis room, tournament sized bowling green and large car park. the club provides free wifi for patrons convenience of use of mobile phones, tablets or computers. we also specialise in functions including corporate, religious, birthdays, engagements, sporting club events, anniversaries and entertainment shows just to name a few. with function spaces that can cater for 10 to 250 people, our team can make your function one you will never forget! history the south oakleigh club was created in 1952 by a small group of men. land was purchased and premises were built and upgraded over the years by hard work and fundraising by the members. originally it was a mens' only club. i
