the south padre island convention centre occupies 30 acres on scenic laguna madre bay. its 45,000 square feet can be configured almost any way you like. primary facilities include 22,500 square feet of exhibit hall space, a 2633 square foot conference auditorium with seating for 225; and 9,000 square feet of meeting rooms available. in addition, the south padre island convention & visitors bureau “can do” staff is well- equipped to make sure your event goes according to plan including registration, housing and activities for guests and spouses. heads up! paradise has a dress code! don’t worry you’ll like this one! ever been to a convention where flip flops and tropical island shirts were the dress code? when you have your conference here, there are no ties allowed! we are officially a “no tie zone”! so plan on being comfy!
