the south san joaquin county fire authority (ssjcfa) is a full service fire agency located in tracy, ca. through a joint powers agreement, the member agencies of the city of tracy and the tracy rural fire district provide fire services to a 170 square mile jurisdictional area. the ssjcfa provides a variety of public safety emergency services including fire, advanced life support, hazardous materials, and specialized rescue. through the community risk reduction division, the department provides fire prevention services including public education, fire code administration, inspection services, and plan review. respecting our traditions, we embrace progression in pursuit of excellence to proudly serve with dignity, honor and respect.
