the south shore leadership center (sslc) is a non-profit organization that builds and develops leadership capacity throughout northwest indiana. an affiliate of purdue university northwest, the sslc partners with education, business, manufacturing, environmental, arts & humanities, healthcare, economic, and government sectors or organizations to improve the awareness and knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing northwest indiana. sslc works in partnership with community and organizations to develop and engage thoughtful leaders who will make a difference in northwest indiana and beyond. our mission is to engage skilled and collaborative leaders who stimulate vibrant communities. and to inform and involve leaders who are committed to advancing the quality of life in the seven counties of northwest indiana. participants enrolled in sslc programs represent a wide variety and diverse spectrum of leaders in northwest indiana. everyone from high school students to the most experi
