south suburban community services, sscs, works to provide youth and community services. specializing in traditionally "hard to contact" (htc) communities, with a mission of human capital development. sscs bridges the resource access gaps, helping youth, families and community members, identify, engage or re-tool to viable 21st century career pathways. the result is successful financial sustainability, self-determination, community engagement, ownership, emotional support and appropriate resource utilization. we support whole being wellness by helping families. with over 185 years combined social service and business experience the agency has touched over 25,000 lives. certified as an nccer training unit, sscs has 14 credentialed nccer instructors. we provider hybrid training that meets trainees where they are. the webild model supports holistic empowerment based services. the demonstration is in real time as in partnership with dceo and il works we graduated our first cohort in july
