the mission of sspads is to prevent and end homelessness. key characteristics of sspads’ programs are interfaith partnerships, hospitality, compassion, service and dignity. to meet the challenges that cause, contribute to and exacerbate homelessness requires sustained support over time and individual or family concerns are addressed as interrelated social issues. to effectively tackle complex challenges such as poverty and homeless requires delivering quality and effective programs and services across multiple categories.
