south sudanese australian youth united (ssayu) is grassroots, youth-led organisation that is based in victoria and was established in june 2016 by a group of young south sudanese students and professionals in an effort to bring about positive social changes for other young south sudanese people in australia. the group has a shared vision of empowering young people to reach their fullest potential in life as we believe that making a change in a young person’s life requires a unified effort from all members of the community.
