scs exists to equip educationally underserved followers of christ for service to the church and community. scs currently offers three uniquely designed programs: certificate of ministry, diploma in ministry, and associates of arts in ministry. with an independent board of directors, administration, staff, and endowment, the school of christian studies also provides an operational framework that allows academic institutions, such as hardin-simmons university and hardin-simmons university logsdon seminary, to extend their programs into the south texas region.
